This is how they were getting rid of some bees between stages this weekend. I wonder what they do with them once they’ve been vacuumed up? Are they dead or do they release them somewhere?

@Kungfupussy depends on the kind of vacuum. If it's a wet vac, the bees do not survive it. I don't think they survive a normal strength vacuum like you'd see in a home, either. I think they have special low suction vacuums that can be used to relocate bees, but I have no idea if that is one.
@Kungfupussy they are usually put into a new hive ( if they got the queen) or sometimes combined with a struggling hive if not.
