Smoke has arrived in Tacoma which was expected, but the smell is very unexpected. It’s got a weirdly sweet smell, like some pipe tobacco or something similar.

@MookyTroubadour Here's a piece of knowledge I acquired just a couple of days ago.
Smoke from wood fires is mostly carbon dioxide, which isn't that harmful. But when houses and buildings burn, which is the case in the Kelowna area, those houses contain insulation, shingles, and who knows what else. Particle board contains formaldehyde.
