I’ve been wondering, republicans will have a handful of votes in the majority. Can McCarthy get all of them on board to be named speaker? Will moderate republicans broker a deal with democrats to install a moderate? The blocked bills by Manchin/Sinema makes me wonder if moderates won’t do something similar for the next 2 years. It will only take a couple to block bills. I bet they get pretty good committee assignments.
