Brief recap of my week so far.

Podiatrist visit, partial tear in Achilles, here's some medicine and rest.
Installed a replacement range hood, took hours not minutes.
Took a break to take dog out and get mail, jury summons.
Noticed a lizard in the sunroom, where did you come from? Floor dropping out.
BIL still in hospital.

Yesterday I posted a bit about a tomato. This year for the garden we tried starting things from seed in the basement. Used grow lights. The only real harvesting so far is from lettuce. Here's some pictures of how its going. #gardening

Took MIL to Germanfest today. Give a beer to a 92 year old and she starts dancing with strangers. Think she had a good time.

We've had very limited hummingbird activity this year but in an interesting twist there are some finches learning to get a drink from the hummingbird feeder.

Timeline cleanser. I don't have enough to do so I planted some guara. Small shrub. Flowers late spring thru fall. Attracts bees and maybe butterflies. To the best of my knowledge not involved with Trump trials, 2024 elections or supreme court asshattery.

Tree guy doing tree guy stuff. 70+ feet tall and split down the middle and wind gusts up to 25 mph.

This is my next door neighbors tree. The tree is over 70 feet tall. The part on the left will likely fall in my yard unless the tree hangs on until Saturday when it will be cut down. Today the wind will increase to 25 with gusts to 40 mph.

Puppers is resting. We had a family gathering today. Since they all left she's had a nap, a walk, a meal and is back to napping.
