So, we HAVE to control the Senate so it doesn't go to the House.
Doesn't the Senate certify the EC vote?
I did some additional reading on this. There are several states planning to not certify the state election, preventing any candidate from reaching the 270 number.
But the constitution says "the majority of the whole number of electors appointed." So 270 would only apply if every state submits their counts. Probably wishful thinking on my part to think it would be that simple.
