My hula journey. First ever 1/4/23. Fun with a friend I thought and afterwards, “I’m out of my league.” More classes online. Back to in person. This is what I learned. Hula is intensely serious while also being beautiful, graceful and spiritual. It can’t be done or learned online. It’s not just dancing. It is necessary to join and participate in a community. It is precision work synchronized with your team. It should become an Olympic event.
