I just learned my Godfather (not the Mafia type) died on the 8th. He would have been 96 in September. He was a first cousin to my mom, but they'd practically grown up together.

He remembered listening to the Joe Louis vs Max Schmelling(?) fight in the 30s on an old crystal radio bought in the 1920s. He remembered his grandpa who died in 1932. He seemed to know everyone from everywhere.

Most of all, he was a kind and generous man. (1928-2024)

I am not an expert. Polls can be useful. They're gauges of perception. That is important, but I don't think Biden was as bad in the debate as some people say. I only listened to the debate, though. However, he's been good other times. Biden is the incumbent, perceived better than Harris, I've heard, won the primaries, and has the financing. Time and energy are being wasted by some Democrats.
