In other travel / hiking news… my son’s GF managed to secure a coveted pass to hike to Havasu Fallls! it’s a 25 mile hike to one of the most beautiful areas I’ve ever seen!

@Jezibaba She is! Ticket sales are very limited and are gone as soon as posted… Two tickets opened up and they were available as the pair only @ $400 each. So she bought both and was able to sell the other. It’s definitely not recommended for new hikers as it’s not a guided tour. There’s an option to return from the falls via helicopter and she’s strongly considering it. Can’t attorney see the photos! She’s visiting AZ with her mom for a concert and the hike opened up with almost no notice!
@j0n how did she swing it? An app? I wonder how many people were also waiting for that moment. Very cool that she succeeded. Sounds like it's shaping up to be quite the adventurous trip. Helicopter ride included. 🚁
