Swing Left’s 10-year plan in the states requires us to set short-, medium-, and long-term goals. Our target selection in 2022 prioritizes states where winning competitive governorships has the greatest potential to help protect democratic outcomes in 2024, or states where Democrats have a clear chance to flip legislative chambers and make durable gains
