Well, not only was 1st shift not warned I was a ringer, they weren't warned we were going to be there at all. 🤣 This week has been crazy.

The bad news is that I'm on days for the rest of the week for training in the new line that's going to be starting up on 2nd shift.
😏 I worked on the prototypes for it, wonder if the head engineer warned them that I'm a ringer.

Last night, I was invited into the home of a total stranger to join a small party. I was welcomed by a self-identified “Greek grandma” who explained that her job in life is to “feed people and give hugs.”
I was plied with delicious homemade food and carefully-selected wine. My task in that moment was to accept the generosity provided, enjoy her efforts, and offer my best self to the evening.
This is a model for life—an open door, open heart, open table. I wish this. For all.
