Hey what the *actual* fuck did you do to Simone Sanders-Townsend tonight? She said she was sitting in for Chris Hayes but then up showed Ari Melber and now there is an all white panel. You do know what this looks like, yes?

@publickovacs Which, my friend, is why I look side eye at MSNBC as I do at any other cable media. It's all white people.

@LiberalLibrarian @publickovacs
Au Contraire, mon frere...
Ari is Jewish.
Alex's mother is from Myanmar. Rachel is lesbian.
And the president of MSNBC is Rashida Jones, a black woman.. broadbrushing.. this ain't just WASP whiteness.

@JazzCrafter
At the moment when I created my post, the panel was Ari Melber, Nicholle Wallace, and Andrew Weismann. That panel was white. The president of the company being a Black woman doesn't exactly excuse the fact that Sanders-Townsend disappeared off my screen tonight without a proper hand-off

I see your point.. but I counter with the fact that ant any hour on any day, a generous diversity is anchoring/commenting on MSNBC.. just for that short time you mention might be true, but it is not the norm nor constant.. An hour before you saw this, Johnson was in for Joy Reid, and the lawyer expert was a black woman from Georgia.. And I SERIOUSLY respect Weismann, Katyal,, and CHUCK!!!
