Laying on Mom's couch today, I thought I was going to fall asleep after the surprising, amazing yet emotional morning I had w/my girl.
I had a brave face today as she said "Okay bye Mom! I love you too! See ya!" Or something along that line; and when I walked away, I smiled big & waved.
(Thread - Part 1)
Sitting at the truck stop, I was fine until I stopped & thought about talking to my big girl through that fence. Imagine sitting & crying over a coffee, with my father there & people looking.
Tonight, I let her stay up late & had to sneak away to blubber some more bc she'd just say "awe it's okay, Mommy! Be happy!" All because she doesn't understand how happy these tears were, nor how proud I am of her & to call her daughter.
