Hurricane Milton made landfall Wednesday evening and continues to devastate Florida.

Sarasota had a gust of 102 mph before the weather station went down, and there is a Flash Flood Emergency with 10-14 inches of rain having already fallen, and that doesn't take storm surge into account.

As of 4PM EDT, Hurricane #Milton just weakened to a Category 3 (still major) #hurricane with sustained wind of 125 mph. It is moving NE at 17 mph, and it may take more of an easterly path. If it does, it will be moving south of #Tampa, and likely over #Sarasota. The eye may make landfall in the next 4-5 hours.
