@JasonStiff we are modifying the weather (raising temperatures, warming oceans, changing currents, changing wind patterns, creating more and stronger storms) by trashing the environment. we control the causes but not the outcome, which is climate chaos. must be hell to be a weather guy and see so much ignorance.
@Iceman_Bob Yes unfortunately the whole planet is changing the climate for the worse, and way too few people want to do anything about it. To make it worse, the people who don't believe we're making the planet less-livable tend to think we can ALSO control and create storms somehow. They must not listen to themselves as they speak out loud...
@JasonStiff Not mentioned but true... most government research into 'weather control', especially hurricane control, ended when it became obvious that if we could control or cancel hurricanes that most of the bread basket in the US and Mexico would enter a state of permanent drought. We'd starve.
And altering weather would be an international nightmare. Once you attempt to modify the weather, you are legally liable for what happens. Quite likely to result in wars.
