@JasonStiff It really is a striking visual. I enjoy checking out celestial events and Time and Date is a great site where you can look up what is in the sky and locate planets.

I also like the Star Walk app and Heavens-Above site. Each is interesting it its own way.

@Museek I was able to watch the 2012 annular eclipse live and in person in New Mexico. The center of its path was just south of Albuquerque... it was awesome.
