@Museek Yes it was a beautiful drive... definitely doing it now while the weather is nice before the Beartooth Loop gets shut down for the winter due to too much. Cooke City is to the west of there and that leads right to Yellowstone National Park... beautiful area!
@JasonStiff lucky you! that is stunning country and it does look like a perfect day for it. I can’t remember if Beartooth is one of the roads into Yellowstone but I am pretty sure that’s the one I’m thinking of.. hair raising through snow!
Wyoming and Montana are gorgeous and fascinating from the Grand Tetons to Yellowstone. Cody is surrounded by beautiful scenery. I’ve been to the Buffalo Bill research center there, also. Have also been to Mato Tipila, which also has fascinating geology.
