#forgiveness David Gerrold has been talking about this for several weeks in his writing seminar. This is a link (free article) in the NYT opinion section re: forgiveness by a minister regarding the inability of Americans and Christian Americans to forgive.
Yeah, it gets religious at the end, but the point is that until we learn to see each other with humanity and compassion, things are going to continue to worsen.

When people tell you that they don't believe in free elections, that they want to terminate the Constitution, that they want to institute a hierarchical society in which people are allocated unequal rights dependent on their gender, race, and religion, that they're fond of Hitler...
Don't tell me "Oh, that's just political exaggeration, they don't really mean it." Don't cover for it.
They do mean it. It's not comedy. It's not irony. It's not playing to the balcony.
It's fascism.
#reading Ever wanted to read LitRPG without fighters? I found one. "Alpha Test" by David R. Pendleton. He has a non-combat story going. Loving it. Sadly, he died, so it is just one KU book/one audible plus book. Thought I'd mention it. They income will go to his family/estate. Besides, it's an amazing take with a disabled character (IRL).
Hope you take the chance to read this knowing it's only one book out of a series.
A story I always wanted to read.

The channel - which claims to have sources in Putin’s entourage - said medics “arrived within a few minutes, but could not immediately examine the president”.
This was due to him suffering “oncology of the G.I. tract, as a result of which he already experiences serious problems with digestion” - and the fall caused an “involuntary” reaction.
“Before the examination, the doctors escorted the president to the bathroom and helped to clean up.”

Today I told a fellow writer that if I had all the time I spent on preparatory marketing back I'd have five completed novels.
Marketing is critical and the first three books tend to be money sinks. I'm thankful some of my writer friends do professional editing and we do service swaps.

#sanitycheck I mentioned to a Trump supporter I know that I removed my business account from Twitter. Many big advertisers are bailing.
"They hate him."
Me: "A business doesn't hate. A business makes money. When advertisers bail it's because it's harming the business bottom line."

Me: "Yanno how you say you love the person and hate the sin?"

Late last night (in my TZ) @th3j35t3r introduced an integrated light mode option for all CoSo users.
J did this while literally under attack from a big grifter personality on Tw.
J has also kept CoSo going when it was under attack from someone disrupting access to service when the recent wave came in.
He consistently protects & prioritizes us even when under extreme duress--while also maintaining his integrity.
That's who's at the helm-- there's nowhere I'd rather be.
