Trump has chosen Matt Gaetz of Florida to serve as his attorney general. Gaetz has a limited amount of experience as a practicing lawyer, as much of his professional career after graduating from Law School has been as a politician. Gaetz has been investigated by the DoJ for sexual misconduct but decided to drop it, another failure of the DoJ. The ethics investigation on Gaetz has ceased when he resigned from the House in preparation for his incoming role.
