If I uploaded my consciousness to a computer-like device and then transplanted it to a new body, would it still be this me or a new me?
Our bodies, the cells that make it up, are fully replaced like every 8 years or so, so am I still the same me?
Is consciousness simply an emergent property of biology or is it deeper than that? Is each conscious mind a quantum level collapse of a probability wave? IS that quantum state me?

To You They Sing, O Demeter - Posted on Ko-Fi - https://ko-fi.com/post/To-you-they-sing-O-Demeter-W7W8OY6R2
For Sinead
You came like a flower in Spring
Beautiful and loud
And took my heart
Screaming of Troy
Singing of broken hearts
Shining like a star in the heavens
You asked us to put hands on you
You sang of your grief
And then you were gone
I know that living with you, baby, was sometimes rough
But I wish we could give it another try
Because nothing compares to you
