An economy based on starvation wages and putting people into debt so you can collect interest from them forever is a SHIT ECONOMY, regardless of what the unemployment rate and/or stock market look like

@redenigma Used to be you graduated from college, got a job, and took on 30 years of home loan debt. Now, with astronomical tuition and student loans, we skip the job and the home, and go straight to being in debt.
The bachelor's degree might as well be called the indentured servant's degree.

@ImagineThat some entry level, minimum wage jobs are demanding bachelor degrees. that's ridiculous. one does not *need* a bachelor degree for a service type job. while it's nice to have well rounded, educated employees, that's not what you get when you hire a bachelor in business degree (IME, in retail, your business degree employees actually majored in partying & are dumber than rocks)

@ImagineThat @redenigma Everyone has choices to make. Get a BS in radiologic technology and join an MRI crew? You'll work hard but the investment in the education will eclipse in pay what one can make without said degree and license.
