I looked it up and it's like a weather tracking thing, well, not exactly but something to do with atmospheric something or another but I understood why it's being mentioned by the lunatic fringe

@Idissent @arthurpendragon they essentially think the HAARP antenna could control weather, and/or was a 1st generation attempt at it, which now they apparently think has been mastered. There's stuff out there where it's for deep space communication with 'alien overlords', it gets messy. But yeah. There was a ceremony when it was decommissioned, and people could actually check it out.
