This has no spoilers, I promise. #Xmen97
This week's episode is wild. What would normally drag out over several episodes seems to be instead a speedrun of a storyline, but in a very good way.
I do bad for new fans. I'm not sure how much sense any of this makes to someone who doesn't have years of familiarity with X-Men. At least the show is trying to (mostly) stay in bounds with stuff covered in the original animated series.
Only other thing I gotta say about X-Men 97 is that you have no idea how much this scene made me geek TF out.
Like pause and sit there with my jaw dropped cause they finally did my girl right.
Don't care what else happens in the rest of the series, having *THE* definitive Storm appreciation moment in episode one made my heart so happy.

Anytime you see discourse about how "wrong" Gambit's attire here is, know that it's completely in bad faith.
The show is X-Men 97 as in 1997.
And let me tell you, these half shirts were a dime a dozen with in shape dudes at the time. Every dude on our high school football team during this period wore them on game days to impress the girls.
Some people just need the culture war for clicks.

You ever take the first puff of a new strain and as soon as the taste hits your tongue you go, "Oh man this is gonna &#_ me up."?
That's where I am now, I think it's gonna be a good Sunday afternoon.
Because I can.
Tonight I go to a meeting and receive my 25 years clean, coin. I decided to dress up. Ya know, nice Italian cut suit, bright colored shirt with contrasting tie, and pointy boots. The suit is charcoal grey, the shirt sky blue, the tie forest green, boots black. No vest. But thin dark grey suspenders.
"what da ya mean, I ain't got no class? It's night, I am inside, and I am wearing shades."
Dress cool or go home.
You ever hear a snippet of a song and you instantly know, this song isn't meant for humans to hear?
Like it's some horrors similar to what happens when the Nazis opened the Ark of the Covenant in Indiana Jones waiting on you for when you hit play.
But you have to anyways, because the the allure of dying from laughing is too strong?

You ever hear something that makes you instantly think "What a beautifully chaotic Trainwreck dumpster fire master piece of a thing?".
I can't explain how happy I am to have heard this ... Thing... that somehow has this surreal feel of love and reverence (and ignorance, so much cause it's my boy PT) to it.
So this was about 30/45 minutes ago in Buffalo.
I live within walking (it'd be a loooong walk) of the Bills stadium.
You can see the volume isn't the biggest problem right now, it's that you can't even see across the blessed street.
Postponing the game was the only responsible call.
FYI if you had a net worth of $1Mil, 0.00001 percent would be a $10 fine.
You would be hit harder in the pocket book by a traffic ticket if you were a millionaire than you would the fine David Tepper got.
@invisiblecatmom haven't forgotten about you buddy. I know times have been rough and it was a bit of bs with people getting on your nerves. Hope all is well.
