Maybe you are still a last minute shopper like I used to be and you are going to have a bunch of stress today.
If so my condolences.
My gift to you is the way I have managed to break my habit and turn it into a mini holiday that I look forward to every year - while also avoiding last minute BS.
In December, take off a random Wednesday or Thursday and do you shopping. Make into a holiday if self care, get breakfast go to uncrowded stores, and take it slow.
It's a much better experience.

The insomniac game dev ransom leaked almost 2 TB of data.
All the stuff you're seeing, the game code, the videos, the files, etc are about 2 terabytes of data.
Now are you understanding how absolutely awful it is when people get arrested for having illegal content that is exploiting people and it comes out that they had like 10 TB of data?
Someone is making a late push to be the dumbest thing in 2023 and I respect the desire to be stupid.

I know part of it is that we are so much more aware in 2023/24 of how creepy guys can be, but there's also this pureness in the way he sings the song that him going so hard over just trying to to all to a girl and introduce himself transcends everything else.
This song perfectly encapsulates that wonderful moment where anything is possible, where dreams live for ever, where you haven't seen the others persons flaws and/or red flags yet.
The beauty is that it never tries to be more.
I know it's a fairly popular song and even though it never reached #1 status back in the day everything about this song is exceptional.
If you take some of the lyrics out in a vacuum you'd think that Tevin was singing about something so much more serious.
But the beauty is that in context thinking of it as an young adult/teenager singing the song, missing your chance with dream girl/girl *IS* that serious.
Which is why when Tevin sings so damn hard, it's convincing.
Can We Talk by Tevin Campbell is a great song, and Campbell does an amazing job singing it.
Yet I want to just take a minute and appreciate the song writing behind it. Babyface and Daryl Simmons put in God tier work when they wrote this song.
"But just like a baby I could not talk
And I tried to come closer but could not walk"
Like WHY DO YOU HAVE A LINE THAT GOES THIS HARD IN A SONG ABOUT NOT MISSING YOUR CHANCE????!

Doesnt surprise me. Navy Fed wouldn't give me a car loan several years ago despite me making quite a bit of money compared to my expenses.

Last night we had the premiere for UNBILLIEVABLE and the audience loved it! Didn't get as many pics as I would have liked on account of talking to everyone but lots were taken of me so I’m sure more will hit the internet eventually. Sandra Oh is amazing in Invincible.
Y'all ain't giving her flowers for performance because she's not one of the main characters or one of the supers.
But she is outstanding and half the emotional impact of the animated series doesn't land without her.
Kudos to you Sandra Oh. I see you if no one else does.
