Can we talk for a minute about the fox movies did both Storm and Rogue wrong?
Early 90s cartoon X-Men Storm and Rogue were bringers of extreme pain and power and backed down to no one.
Brian Singer said, what if we took everything cool about them and took it away so that they could be second fiddle to literally everyone else.

Storm was capable of doing boss shit like this, stopping a god damned tsunami in it's tracks.

I get you can't have Storm show off her power on a scale like this where she literally alters the weather patterns of the planet, but Storm was also the leader of the X-Men multiple, multiple times over the years. With several of those times coming before any of the live action movies.
I'd be over the moon if anyone ever got Storm or Rogue right in the movies.
