Webb Telescope Peers into Puffy Planet with Clouds of Sand
A mere 200 light-years away, there's a planet with the density of styrofoam and clouds of sand. How did it get so weird?
HiRISE 3D: Knob on a Polar Layered Deposit in an Area Not Well Observed
The objective here is to determine origin of this solitary knob: was it impact related?

HiPOD: A View of Polar Dunes
This image was acquired to study interactions between active sand dunes and polar ice. As the dunes migrate (towards the lower right of the full image), they leave behind bright regions where dust has been removed from the polar ice. Bits of very bright seasonal frost are present on the sides of the dunes.

Is it Life, or is It Volcanoes? — Astronomers are working hard to understand biosignatures and how they indicate life's presence on an exoplanet. But each planet we encounter is a unique puzzle. https://phys.org/news/2023-09-life-volcanoes.html
HiRISE 3D: Shadows and Slopes
A simple objective here: to look for any changes on this crater wall from an earlier observation.

HiPOD: Gully Monitoring
Scientists monitor the many pristine gullies on Mars to find changes and determine the seasons when they are most active. This image will be compared to a prior image with very similar lighting and viewing angles to search for any changes. The cutout has enhanced colors.

HiClip mini 4K: Λάθε βιώσας (Live Hidden)
This observation was acquired to fill in HiRISE coverage where CRISM data already exists.
This is a non-narrated clip with ambient sound.
HiRISE 3D: Flecks of Ice
There’s a polar theme with our 3D pics! This image shows layered deposits at the edge of a scarp.

HiPOD: Boulders Tumbling Down a Mesa in Cassini Crater
This image shows layered mesas in Cassini Crater. The cutout highlights boulders that have tumbled down the hill of one mesa. Two dark streaks that end at boulders may mark very recent events.

HiPOD: Drainage Divide Migration in Tyrrhena Terra
A profiling method can determine the history of drainage migration in bedrock-erosion landscapes, but only with high-resolution terrain models as input. HiRISE stereo was requested as Context Camera digital terrain model resolution would likely not be adequate for this purpose.

HiRISE 10K: A Bounty of Dark Dunes
The North Polar layered deposits (NPLD) are a stack of dusty water-ice layers that are thought to record information about past Martian climates.

HiRISE 3D: Rappeler’s Delight!
Scarps such as this have either active mass wasting or potential for current mass wasting. Comparison to previous years helps to document new activity in scarp erosion.

HiPOD: Eroded Sedimentary Rock Layers
The layered sedimentary rocks of Mars are of interest as indicators of ancient climate change. This scene was also captured in stereo so stereo anaglyphs are available to show the dramatic steep slopes of this eroded landscape.
