Folks, I am trying to be fair, logical and impartial about all this. I really am. All I can really do is provide good tools. I can't make people use them, I can't make people understand other people. I can't solve world peace.
Ask yourself this. If I were to provide a 'safe space' where BIPOC users could feel less marginalized by COSO users don't want to listen.... do u know what that's called?
Segregation. Apartheid.
AND WE'RE NOT DOING THAT.
I can't MAKE people wanna discuss things.

2 of 2 - COSO started out as an attempt to foster healthy discussion FOR EVERYONE within an ecosystem 'Counter' to the way other platforms do it. And we want to remain that way.
I extend my thanks to all involved in this discussion & sincerely hope folks regardless of status can continue to express themselves without fear. Which it seems, is exactly what has happened.
Should this turn out to be a deliberate Platform Manipulation Event I will find out & there will be consequences.

Okay thanks for all the responses. I'm still going through them. But I feel I have a better understanding of what transpired.
So first thing's first:
Hashtags are NOT mandatory here. Hell, I'm the worst offender for not categorizing my every thought into a hashtag.
Again, hashtags are NOT mandatory, they are a courtesy. If they were I'd have made it so you couldn't post without one.

I'm noticing folks leaving this place or 'taking a break'. Like it's noticeable. I'm not really sure what has been going on here the last few days, it's fragmented and confusing. I don't actually know what I need to do to fix this problem.
You are allowed to have disagreements here and there are tools for you to curate your experience here. What is going wrong this last couple of days?
Help me help us solve the problem. Whatever it is.
