But what is even sadder and a terrifying presage of years to come is the continuation of violent and destructive storms, and unpredictable weather!

Even if we began a worldwide change to reach carbon free energy, or zero carbon emissions, it would take 10 years of concerted efforts by all humans to reach that goal!

Bleak Future? Hell yes!

He knows that his chances of surviving that cancer are slim even though there is a 10% chance of a remission. Is he in the denial phase? No, he insists on enjoying life as long as possible.

The end of living is inevitable, naturally, but most of us fear the preamble, that is weeks or months in the hospital with constant pain! We all want to die in our sleep even though the choice is not in our hands!

A friend of mine who just turned 80 was diagnosed with advanced stomach cancer; it is inoperable and usually kills the patient in less than a year. Did he give up? No, he bravely faced chemo and painful tests.
