Most people I know that have gone on vacation recently have ended up with COVID. The air is thick with the crap. #wednesdaymorning
Was supposed to go back to work today but now have to wait until Monday. Extended vacation brought to you by the fine people at COVID. #work

Damn. I have COVID. I took another look at the test I took and there is a very faint line where it shows positive. So I took another and this time a more prominent 2nd line. I got a booster 4 weeks before the trip and masked up in the airports and on the planes and still got this. 2nd time in 5 months. It's still all over the place out there. #fuckcovid
I came home with a bad cold and then fever. Thought it may be COVID but thankfully it is not. But it is something I picked up in our travels. Pretty normal these days. #travel
I didn't worry about the dog. Had fun with my wife and we didn't argue at all. She also agreed to do the driving to take that stress away from me (and I was agreeable). #blessed
The trip I got myself all jacked up about was decent. We stayed at a nice place on the water in Sebastian Florida. Visited the FIL who isn't all that evil any longer (even hates Trump now). We went to Vero Beach, Cocoa Beach and Cape Canaveral. Ate some good food. Had a nice fire at the FIL's house the night before we left. Our son did a good job of taking care of our dog. My anxiety lies to me constantly. I took plenty of Ativan to get me thru it and it really did the job for this anxious guy.
We're home! It's always good to be back home!! #home

My wife and I are staying at the airport tonight to make life easier in the morning (yes, we’re heading home in the morning). There’s a Waffle House right next door. We never ate at a Waffle House before. It was awful. I mean really awful. I can feel the diarrhea brewing as I type this. #awful #wafflehouse
So my FIL has definitely mellowed. His wife is the real problem. She has no patience for him and drinks heavily. My wife is very sad to leave today.
