Met a high school friend for lunch today, we've seen each other maybe10 times since the 80s - but still - old friends are the best friends.

#caregiver #dogsofcoso Adele barks like crazy when the caregiver comes to give mom her sponge bath. She also hates being put in her crate. This morning I put a heating pad (set on low) in her soft crate before I zipped her in. She barely gave a woof when the caregiver arrived.

For what it's worth, let me remind some of the new arrivals fleeing Twitter that this is NOT that evil place, and that you don't have to create posturing, blustery bios for yourselves. No one's out to get you here, other than us wanting to know you. Likes, Follower counts, and all that crap doesn't matter here and it never will. This isn't a competition ... but if you act a fool, you'll get told about yourself and possibly booted, so tone down the rhetoric and please don't attack folks. Thanks!

@XaoslordErie Part of me believed that too. But... I think humans, except straight up psychopaths, are a product of the information and environment we are subjected to. Maybe I'm naive... but I think the reason I'm a liberal is precisely because I want EVERYONE to do better. Not just a few. Maybe it's a fools errant, but... that's what I think I was put on this earth for. To be able to help as many people as I could in whatever time I had. In the grand scheme of things, it might not matter. 😎

It appears I get to keep moving forward. Thank you all for the encouragement. I’m at the point where I’m starting to actually feel like it might actually happen and I might be moving up another rung on the ladder.

So I did a thing. I started my day by going #CoSoPro
I don’t have a computer and I had been putting it off because I don’t need extra features really and they’re features for the Desktop version. I think.
But you know what? J has been amazing. He created this place & he maintains it.
He also pays for it out of pocket and GIVES it to us.
Now, I don’t know who J is, but I know this little corner of the internet costs him some dollars and hours.
That’s worth something.
