#nature Everyone knows to protect the bees because they pollinate flowers--but bats do it, too! Just look at this little guy COVERED in pollen! He is best böi. In fact, bats carry significantly more pollen in their fur compared to other pollinators. At least 500 species of flowers in 67 plant families rely on bats to survive. Bats are essential to our ecosystem!

New research reaffirms that human footprints found in White Sands National Park, NM, date to the Last Glacial Maximum, placing humans in North America thousands of years earlier than once thought.
