First day back in the studio since the 22nd and apparently no one wanted to take down all the Christmas decorations. Well, considering all the decorations are mine, that makes sense. 😎
Dear "customer service" line: If I'm calling you, it's because I need to talk to someone. I don't need to be directed to your website. Trust me, I'm well aware of the internet by now.
I just got accused of being a wizard.
See, I was at a friends house, and offered to help them fold some fresh laundry. When I was able to fold a fitted sheet into a perfect square, by myself, they crossed themselves and muttered something about wizardry.
Which Hogwarts house specializes in properly folded bedding?
Sometimes the best Christmas presents are the ones we give ourselves. 😁
“So what are you doing for your vacation, Gary?”
“Well, relaxing around the house doing some gaming, some baking, watching movies with the wife buying a new car, doing some cleaning. The classic staycation.”
“Wait… back up one. Buying a new car?”
“It is the Christmas season, you know.”
I’ve been on vacation this week, which is why I haven’t been online much. But it has given me time to do some baking. Like fruit & nut biscotti
I'm a bit of a traditionalist when it comes to holiday movies, so for me it's really a top 3 list:
1) Miracle on 34th Street
2) White Christmas
3) A Christmas Story
Let's settle this once and for all -- what's the greatest Christmas movie ever made?
For most of my life, people have been telling me I need professional help. And I agree. I think a chef and a butler should do it. Though a maid would be nice, too.
Good Friday morning! Christmas is just around the corner, and so is my annual vacation. So yes… I guess I’m finally getting into the holiday spirit. 🎅🏻
