Got email from Simon & Schuster that my new book debuted at #7 nationwide this week on the SF booklist. That's four national bestsellers in a row. I'm pretty stoked.

It's weird to be up and working on air but not doing my regular morning show. This is going to take some getting used to.

I recently heard a commercial that said "9 out of 10 forest fires are caused by humans." Which made me think to myself, "There's a bear out there who knows how to use matches."

And just to note: I've been doing traffic for local TV and radio stations for years. Along with all the other broadcast stuff I do. So this isn't new for me. 😁

Just in time for Easter. 😁

So this afternoon, I was the subject of an intervention. My close friends gathered to inform me that my cheesy jokes were becoming a real problem. They said the intervention was for my own gouda, that I was cheddar than this, and that I was in danger of becoming a muenster who would probably die provolone.

My wife really hates shopping with me. 😜

Sometimes I like to go to the hardware store and run around with a screwdriver shouting, "Ladies and gentlemen, this is not a drill!"

@bfgreen I'm also working as a traffic reporter for our two remaining stations and one of the local TV stations. I'm like a broadcasting cockroach -- I'm hard to get rid of. 😁

@MelissaHDavis I enjoy doing the other stuff I do with the company, especially The Pulse, which I've been running for nearly 15 years (and was a writer for the previous 5 before taking over).

@bfgreen It was. The station was sold, though I'm still working for the parent company.

@LlamaMountainStudioArts I'll still be running The Pulse, our local arts & entertainment website (which I've been involved with for 20 years), as well as working as a traffic reporter for our remaining stations and the local CBS affiliate.
