The easiest way to find something lost around the house is to buy a replacement. I have something like 17 flashlights now.
@GaryPoole
Tape-measures are another...
I brought back a Swiss metric tape measure, over a decade ago... saw it a year ago. Kept track of it for a week.
No idea where it is now.
💯
When my dad died, we found enough box cutters to stock ten hardware stores tucked in various "safe places" throughout his apartment. Most never even made it out of the packaging.
@misterfive My dad collected batteries and reading glasses.
@GaryPoole Generally, I've found that you have to open the replacement. That is what triggers the return or the original.
@GaryPoole Would that work for a spouse? 🤣
With my mom it was nail clippers. Found eight or ten when we cleared out her apartment after she died.
@GaryPoole I think the price of a quality unit has gone up a lot, then again what hasn't?
