Each year, the awesome local chain Treats Unleashed releases a pet memorial video. Last year, my email with pics & blurbs about the 2 beloved cats (Mikey & Leila) we lost in 2022 went to junk mail, & they weren’t included in the 2022 tribute. They designed slides for them & said they’d include them in the 2023 memorial. Their format changed due to so many submissions, but our babies are at the 1:42 mark (https://youtu.be/nqQhZSPFTgo). You’ll notice that “Lessons in Chemistry” is among the books I read this year - I had that in my “next up” position on the nightstand, & then found out that Apple TV+ was about to release the 8-part series based upon the book. I haven’t posted about the books I’ve been reading in a while, but I wrapped up reading my 16th book for 2023 today after starting it a couple of days ago (Xmas break is so great for allowing me uninterrupted reading time). Last night’s #SNL was one of the funniest ones we’ve seen in a long time, starting with Nate Bargatze’s monologue and including several funny sketches. Of course, we loved seeing Foo Fighters back at it again and some sketch appearances by Dave Grohl, too. This sketch, however, is quite possibly the funniest we’ve seen in the last 5-10 years on the show. I’m still laughing after watching it multiple times now. Enjoy! 😹
