@Mrs_Bones and I were recently discussing Action Park in Vernon NJ. She and her family came from there, so she was very familiar with it.
We have seen this video from Defunctland about it and we're reminiscing about dangerous shit we did or were allowed to do back in the day.
Looking back, 6 deaths should've been 6 too many. 😅

Back in the 80's I was at a water park in Florida, and they sent a huge man down the slide after me. I guess the water backed up behind him -I slowed down, and he sped up and crashed into me as we went around a curve.
I flew _out_ of the slide, about 3 stories up. I barely caught the edge of it and flipped myself back in just in time for a little girl to slide round, who also crashed into me.
On the way down she said "Ah thought you were gawn die!" and giggled.
So I'm just gonna say it. That sounds kinda dangerous...😮
That's like at action park, they had a LOT of people getting hurt so the Authorities opened it up. When they removed the protective padding inside the loop, they found TEETH embedded in it. 😱
The rides were designed by the owner, who was NOT an engineer. 😮
It's weird because if you watched the video I linked, two people died in the Wave Pool. The same kind @kodabones and I went to recently.
