When I'm freaking out about peeing blood tomorrow...someone remind me that I ate beets today πŸ˜‚ πŸ˜‚

@Helical_Code so was the trip a list success or did you fail and wander off down the aisles of possibility?

@GrandmaJ I'm struggling just watching my friend's kids graduate from high school and my cousin become a grandma. I still like a kid and am slightly shocked every time I look in the mirror. Does that ever end? Also, the AARP envelope has been seen, their offer has been declined with cursing.

@Helical_Code why would you restrict yourself to a list? That seems a little bit like torture...

My zinnias are coming along nicely if you ignore my haphazard planting that created a blad spot. The bee balm, yarrow, hydrangea, and lilies are in bloom. The bees are thrilled

@GrandmaJ thank you! all of my flowers are in bloom so I'll try to get some pictures today :)

The SO received her AARP membership offer in the mail this morning. I think I'll just leave this little envelope in the unopened mail pile and try not to be in the house when she discovers it. 😜 #50

@Helical_Code I feel like men have a much harder time. The stone size and shape also factors in. I've passed relatively large (5 mm) stones with relatively little issue and then struggled with smaller (2-3 mm) spikey ones that cause a LOT of pain. I feel like passing stones has gotten easier as I've gotten older. It's been almost a decade since I've required medical intervention. This current batch is unusual for me as I the pain is very tolerable. Usually it's 1-2 weeks of excruciating pain.

@Helical_Code I find my water more palatable if I pour it into a coffee maker and let that little machine do its magic 🀣 πŸ˜† Did I mention that my urologist is a wonderful woman to put up with my cr@p?? I'm old enough to know better. I've been passing kidney stones for over 20 years. I still behave badly. Maybe some day I'll grow up and be a responsible adult.

Good morning lovelies! I was totally wiped yesterday. I took two naps and then went to bed at 830pm and woke up at 9am. Now that I feel human again, it's time to see what fabulous things this day has in store for us...after my coffee and a run.

@redenigma πŸ˜‚ I have four plants. But I knew what I was in for when I planted them.

Hellooooo extra firm couch cushion. I don't know where you've been all my life and I know we just met, but I have a feeling I'm going to sleep with you today.

@ceorl It's so addicting. You start with one little plant and the next thing you know you're surveying your yard and saying things like..."if I shape it like this *waves hands in the air* I can squeeze one more garden bed over there in the corner"

@ceorl LOL I think the spaghetti squash scare me even more than the zuchinni....I swear those things double in size overnight.

@MrsBenjy Thank you! Summer garden season is one of my favorite times of the year :)

πŸ˜‚ Never turn your back on a zuchinni.... I swear I only skipped checking the for one day.

@Susandoyle my SO does this constantly. She'll rewind the same show half a dozen times and still mange to miss 90% of it because she can't sit still.

@Helical_Code I haven't changed my diet but I'm notorious for not drinking enough water and with summer and running...I'm sure my urologist and nephrologist just shake their heads when they see me coming. I typically have about 6 to 12 stones hanging out in my kidneys at any given time. I'm just thankful they seem to be staying on the small side (< 3 mm).
