@GrandmaJ I saw in the news that the flu is also having a late surge. I'm wondering if I should get a second flu shot before traveling since my last flu shot was in November.

@Helical_Code I can't imagine being a parent who has lost their child and carrying both the grief of the loss and the guilt of thinking that even though you followed all the advice, you somehow still did something wrong that caused the death of your child. I'm so glad to see this research.

Well...we've made it to Wednesday. The coffee cup is full. The weather is beautiful. Wednesdays are the day that NC DHHS publishes their updated COVID numbers each week. We've been seeing a rise in cases. My manager currently has COVID. I'm being asked to fly in mid-June. I think it's probably time for a second booster. I've been so isolated that I haven't really seen the need for one before now.
