Just checking in before bed. I have to get up around 3:00 am to catch a lyft to the airport at 4:00 for a 6am flight ✈️

Check you all tomorrow sometime.

I puttered around and worried myself out now. Set two alarms. And really can't think of anything left to do.

Good morning all!
Blueberry bagel with peanut butter and blueberries, coffee.
I think I'm off to a good start.
I have a little painting and tightening up to do around the house before I leave for 6 weeks. Future comms will come from Puerto Rico. I have a 6:00 a.m. flight in the morning. It will be good to see old friends there and pick up where I left off with chores. Getting the AC working, and prepping the rooftop cabana for tile. Also keeping a heads up for hurricanes since 'tis the season.

The groom will now work in the states for several months while he waits for the proper paperwork to be developed.

Well, had a good 3day vacay. Hot Springs, and a wedding reception. The title "wife verification event" has something to do with the fact that the (u.s.) groom married the (polski) wife in Poland then left to come back to the states without realizing he did not have the proper "green card" to return with his wife in 2 days from now. The bartender behind the sign was a wonderful woman who took care of us all for tips.

Well got half of it fit, a little tear off in the morning and fit the rest. Ooch, my back!

A Rumargarita, 600 Ibuprofen, small bit of gummy, a puff or two, and a yummy tangerine creamsicle and my back isn't such a bother. 😎

Friday I started tearing off the old (14 yr.) balcony decking. Yesterday I went for a sail on the lake with friends, this morning I hauled up the new 3/4 marine plywood sheets. This afternoon when the shade comes will cut and fit. Then I have EPDM rubber to lay...that's a new process for me. I'm short on working days B4 I leave for PR for 5 weeks, so it likely wait for final EPDM install til October.

we laid off all our wait staff and kitchen staff and I cooked while my partner delivered food. A little while later we hired them back again, thank goodness because my cooking didn't really make our chef happy, and then we laid them all off again. Whee! 🫤

I feel like I've just surrendered the last 3 days. Even though I got a lot of necessary online and bookkeeping and planning done, I didn't get any of my usual project things to happen. Maybe it's just because it's hot. I don't usually get a 3-day mood going though. The spark will come. It always does. I don't think I'm suffering depression, but not doing anything on my list does make me depressed. 🫤

Some days I can't get shit done...
Other times I'm productive as hell.
🤷🦥

Ms. Min, I hear it's your birthday!
Happy birthday to one of the brightest lights in the CoSo 'verse. @Minholkin enjoy the day! 🫶

Whether it's Medicare, or regular insurance, does anyone understand what they are doing on an EOB?
🤷 It's a different math.

Good morning my beautiful friends.
Green Chile Tamale with an egg.
Breakfast of Champions! 😁☕

I have a nice long list of projects to do around the house.

So instead I made meatballs out of the old hamburger in the fridge...to toss to the pups next door.

Now I can write that down on the list, and ✔️ it off. Success!

Oligarchal solutions 😜🫣 Show more
