Meta's Threads is shrinking. They are now only 3.5x of CoSo user base.
"Despite a record-breaking start in its first weeks of launch, engagement with Meta's Threads app continues to plummet. According to Similarweb, engagement is down 79% from a high of 2.3 million active users in early July to 576,000 as of August 7th. The Guardian reports"
Here it comes...
All of them are in it...
Even folks I've never heard of.
40 charges or more...
Oh, this is precedent setting good news!

Oh, I've forgotten to wish everyone Good Monday Morning. I hope you all have a fabulous week. I hope that work doesn't get you down. I hope that you have friends to visit with. Go see a movie. I saw Barbie last night with friends. I laughed and teared a great deal. I would see it again with other friends just to share the endorphin rush.

A conversation about children's stories over on the bird site made me try to think what my dad read to me and the first things that came to mind were Aesop's Fables and Uncle Remus / Br'er Rabbit. The others were referencing Where the Wild Things Are and Cat in the Hat and similar.

I am olding it seems, right before my very eyes.
I've successfully shoved this wall back into position a couple of inches now to clean out the cracks and grout them, hopefully I'll get to that today but I still have many other things too. #OldHouses.
I think it was the freakonomics guys who explained that the misspellings, bad sentence structure, and missing capitalization is intentional.
That weeds out the people who can tell it's wrong and the people that reply are the suckers they know they can work on.
There's a sucker born everyday, in every town and village, and now the internet has enabled them all to be reeled in.
Last week I posted that I gave away everything I had as far as personal information in a "background check" B4☕. 🤦♂️
Thanks for your words of support. They are appreciated.
FYI - I'm usually the one offering help and support to others. Makes me feel good. I have a role to play there. It's who I am. I identified immediately with the Empath in Star Trek - TOS when I first saw it. Usually it's physical help, (repairs, IT help, etc) sometimes it's just sitting and listening.
All right, in the half light of the morning, one in the cup, two in the can. Let's get this #CaffeineClub convention started.
Good Saturday morning all. 🌞 I just got my second cup of #coffee down and need to motivate to go downstairs and clean to set up for guests arriving this afternoon. Beds, bath, counters floors. Sheets and towels were done yesterday.
Afterward I *really* need to go re-roof my shed. Winds blew 1/3 of the roll roofing off months ago and I just noticed a couple weeks ago.
Well after that disaster under the kitchen sink, I had a rippin' headache. A couple of those sheet of medicine (acetominiphen) a half an hour later, a couple of ibuprofen, and then a pull on the pipe. After about an hour it seemed halfway tolerable but I was hungry and I got fuck all in the house - so popcorn and wine.
