I was in Chicago in 1968 remember the 'police riot' I could not vote as I did not turn 18 until December that year! but "Tricky Dicky" was one of the worst.
@T_Zen_Warp When I learned he was working behind Johnson's back with the North Vietnamese before the election, it astonished me that he did not get tried for treason.
@FinnegansWhacked @T_Zen_Warp Oh no, that would have been made for the morale of America, so Johnson didn't want that. Better to just let the evil traitors have what they want than let Americans know they had evil traitors, right?

@FinnegansWhacked When I was warning people about what an awful person Dubya was to have for president, I kept telling people that it's not even that he was particularly evil, it is that he and his manipulators and sycophants were grabbing powers that were paving the way for someone far worse to abuse them.
