I want people to know that death by firearm is not rare in kids. In fact, it has been the #1 cause death in this age group since 2020. In 2020 alone, 4300 children died from firearms. That’s equivalent to one Boeing 747 plane crash every month for 9 months.

The drinking age in Texas is 21

Just so we're clear... NRA-approved security consultants regularly terrify kids with drills where they tell fifth graders to throw their fucking textbooks at shooters but the Texas GOP's current story is that three armed cops decided that going inside Robb elementary was a job for the SWAT team
