@yesimfunny i understand. Tristan was 11 as well. He was only the 2nd one I'd had since a pup. Best dog on the planet (along with all the other Best Dogs on the Planet). I'm shifting to pitbulls these days-at this age they're easier to deal with!

I've got an overstory with my curly willow Oak, an understory with elderberries/hazelnut/paw paw, and still working on the ground level stuff-but have blueberries, strawberries, & a lot of herbs at the moment.

Yeah...they go too soon...I used to do mastiff rescue & have had up to 4 of them at a time. Most of them were sweet as the day was long. One or two I had to work with a bit...wouldn't have traded them for the world. I"ll share a pic of Tristan & Sam sitting in boxes in a sec! LoL!

@misslovelymess I've seen ppl pot it up & grow it up a trellis. I'm sure it'll be gorgeous! How long does it bloom in your area? Here, Norfolk, VA, it only seems to bloom for about a week...I love it while it's here, but it goes so fast.
