@Museek So, adding this response someone made... not trying to devalue anything... I agree we should take a moment to listen to the experiences of others...
I donate to ppl caring for stray cats and there are a fair number of scams associated with this. These scams are extremely low effort though, and can often be discovered with a simple reverse image search. If they're producing original content - unique pictures of them caring for cats - that's almost certainly legit and not a scam.
I wish I could pay for the NY Times but only the investigative journalism and the science section. I cannot stand the opinion column; it makes me so mad every time I see it.
There are no good opinion columnists (except Adrian Chiles and he's at the Guardian). No media baron is paying for good opinions. And the longer someone works as an opinion columnist the worse their opinions get.
There are a lot of good investigative journalists though.
@Alfred write a letter in the style of civil war correspondence between spouses, but you are a cat that wants snacks
@Expecting_Words My helpless plight I do thus explain, A magical way for freedom to gain; The only way out of this dire state, Is to find a spell or thing so great. My captor outsmart, the crystal break, Or seek from someone else's aid.
@Alfred If you were a tiny man trapped in a magic crystal, forced to answer questions all day, how would you escape?
