I am going to run some errands this morning, then it's homebound for the week!

Hubbs is OOT again for work, so it's just me, the kids and the fur-kids. Good time to hibernate!
Gonna be hot all week. Lookin like we won't get a drop of rain the whole month of July. Blergh. #PNW

The pistachio cheesecake I made turned out really good! It was beautiful and tastes great! Husband even liked it and he isn't a bug sweets/desserts person. #Food #Baking #Dessert

I just pulled a pistachio cheesecake outta the oven.

It smells good. It looks nice and fluffy, but it's a little jiggly...I am unsure if that's due to being undercooked, or just the...lift...the fluffyness...of the cake itself. It cooked the recommended time, maybe even a tad longer, cause I forgot about it...lol...It shouldn't be undercooked!

Oh, my bad. We hit 99.0* with 91% humidity. :D

I repeat. I. Hate. Summer.

We hit a humid 98.2*f yesterday in my lil corner of the #pnw. It was 80* INSIDE my house, WITH a/c units running all day. They just couldn't keep up. Ugh.

Today is supposed to be about 10* cooler, so, I'll take it. I hate summer. :D #wawx

Nothing can seem to hold my attention recently. Not for very long, anyway. TV, video games, books.....Nada. I've been very restless.
It's too hot to go outside, my garden is all tended to anyway.
I lost my debit card, so I can't go do anything, not that I want to anyway...lol Blargh, I say! BLARGH!

10am and it's 80*f. I am not cut out for this kinda heat! lol #PNW #wawx

Going to be close to 100*F here today. I do not have central air conditioning, we have 3 portable units to try and cool the house, and one is on it's last legs. lol *sigh*

Gonna be a tough one!!

I ordered some wax melts and of course they are being delivered tomorrow, the hottest day of the year so far. lol

Here's to hoping they aren't too melted by the time they arrive.

Birthday was Thursday. My In-Laws came by to give me a birthday card. My FIL told my hubbs that they just wanted to know I was still loved, even though my parents are gone. 😭

I am so lucky to have them as my In-Laws! <3

I just had to explain to my husband, why he needs to turn off the AC units, if he's gonna open windows.

He literally asked "Why?" 😣

He's not a stupid man, so I am not sure why he doesn't grasp this concept. It's something I go round and round with him on, every summer. *sigh*

I am famished and desire a large breakfast buffet! Eggs, biscuits, meats, potatoes.....But, I am so burnt out on cooking and DEFITNLEY don't want to clean up the aftermath of said cooking.....so I had a bowl of fruit. lol #Food

Day two of Hibernation starts today. Yesterday I watched "My Lady Jane", "Family Affair" and "BRATS".

Who knows what today will bring?!

I turn 42 tomorrow, so it'll be a hide in bed and just wait for the time to pass, day. lol Never been a big fan of my birthday. :(

I did it! I made it through our super busy June! Now, I hibernate!! Home, video games, pets, garden and tons of reading are what's in store for the month of July!

Early Access for the new Final Fantasy 14 expansion starts today, then hard launch is July 2nd, the day before my birthday! So, that is what I'll be doing for the foreseeable future!

Well, Aslan is home. The vet wasn't convinced it was an anal gland abscess, she asked if he and Nox fight...Nope. Said the wound wasn't infected or inflamed but She expressed his glands and gave him an antibiotic injection just to be safe, but he's just fine! Was only $182!! *phew* #Cat #CatsOfCoSo

Been waiting an hour, in the car, for Aslan to be seen.....I know Urgent Care appts can have long wait times, but sheesh! I need to pee! lol
