Managed to get Aslan an appt with the local vet (not our reg vet) for 9:30 this morning! Woohoo!

Now, let's hope the costs stay UNDER $1,000, hmm? lol

My Vet can't see Aslan today, unless I wanted to pay an "after hours" fee, which STARTS at $300, on top of whatever his care cost would be. I cannot afford that, as I'm anticipating his care costs alone to be close to $1,000. *sigh* I have to call again tomorrow to see if they have an Urgent Care appt available, and if not then I have to call again on Wednesday. :(

Vet opens at 8am. Going to call and see if they can get my boy in, and have this taken care of. Fingers crossed it's not going to cost me an arm and a leg. lol We all know it will, but I can hope, right? *sigh*

Does anyone have pet insurance? Is it worth it or a crock of crap?

I discovered, what I THINK is, an anal glad abscess on my sweet kitty's bum, last night. He's has some runny poos the last two days, and I was trying to clean him up when I saw it. He's acting totally normal though, other that the obvious wound and runny poos. *sigh* Vet is closed today, but I'll call tomorrow and get him in.

This month has been so busy, I feel like a wrung out washcloth.

Graduation party is in the bag! Twas a big success, many family showed up! Have a ton of left over food though, I always make too much. I am exhausted.

We've 30+ people coming tomorrow. I need husband to replace the trim in the bathroom, so it'll be finished and I can clean it.

What's he doing?

Trimming the uneven fence boards. 😣

The fence has been up for a year now, and he decides that the boards suddenly need to be trimmed TODAY. *sigh* lol

Man, I'm tired. Party is on Saturday and I'm already over it. lol More cleaning today.

Tomorrow is food prep and decorating. Daughters boyfriend is coming over and volunteered to help, so we'll have an extra set of hands, which is nice.

I'm seriously hibernating for the rest of the summer after this....lol

I've deep cleaned the kitchen, gone to the store, mowed and picked up dog poo. Hubbs repaired the deck, hung my towel holder, removed the old TP holder and repaired drywall...He is now doin a heckin weed whackin! Gotta replace trim in bathroom, hang new TP holder and put up new light fixture. Then I need to do touch up paint.

Nothing like an impending party to kick our asses into gear! Lol

It just dawned on me.....I don't have to get up at 5am tomorrow. I don't have to get up at 5am again, until September!!

CELEBRATIONS!!!! lol

And all the junk is gone! Was about $1200 after all was said and done, but totally worth it! The guys that picked it all up were super nice too. Glad that's done!

The chair hubbs bought for me for my birthday, arrived yesterday! We spent the day moving things around and getting him settled into his Man Cave.

Today, we empty the garage of all the junk we've acquired in the 20+ years together. I think there are boxes out there, full of things from when we moved in 2008. Which was two houses ago. lol

Maybe I'll be able to park my car in there again soon!

I have my own office/craft room now! Hubbs has his Man Cave!

Neither are finished, but we're on our way!

I need to figure out what to do with all my craft supplies. I have 8 plastic totes full. Yarn, ribbon, tulle, all sorts of doodads...Maybe I can find room in the garage, once we clean it out tomorrow....

It would figure that the weekend we plan on clearing out the garage, it would rain. lol

I guess that's better than it being hot, but still not ideal. With the junk pickup guys coming on Monday, we HAVE to do it this weekend. Oh well. It's all just garbage anyway, not like the rain will ruin it. 😕

Who ordered $100 worth of sushi and is going to spend Friday night rotting in bed, binge watching Bridgerton again??

This chick! :)

Son #2 graduates today. Crazy!

We weren't sure he was gonna make it, when he was born. Born a month early, emergency c-section, lungs weren't ready, he turned blue and spent 2 weeks in the NICU. Was a lot for a 23 year old to go through.

But now, we are here.

Set up a pick up from 1800GotJunk. It's a lil pricey, but it's 100% worth the convenience for us! We just have too many large items with no way to dispose of them. (Broken lawnmowers, a treadmill, old AC units....)

The garage will be nice and clear soon! :D

Just made my son's last school lunch......

😭

The fact that I am considering spending $400 on reproduction Victoria era door knobs for my bathroom, really makes me hate myself. But man, would they look cool!

I am shopping around, but turns out, they are expensive no matter where ya look! lol *sigh*

My son received a card and check in the mail, from my unwanted MIL. I purposely did NOT send her announcements, but seeing as she lives with one of my BILs, who DID receive announcements, I guess it was inevitable. 😒

Oh wait, I lied. On the 29th we're doing a party for my daughters birthday....THEN I can relax for the summer. lol June is a busy ass month!
