Dear Old Timers,
When we experience a surge of new accounts, a couple of things happen:
1. Trolls FAFO.
2. New people join who don't yet understand the culture.
3. MAGA/crypto/etc. attempt to gain footing.
4. Mastodon/Spoutible/Tribel zealots try to ruin the timeline.
Your best tack is to stay awesome and use the tools. Report ToS violators and mute or block the rest *without drama*, because complaining about change is a bad look for us all.
More join. We stay great regardless.
