@WTFGOP Hiya! Same person I follow on the bird? I have to admit the news and all the damned polls are making me crazily depressed. Steve Kornacky who I usually like is seriously irritating. I get that he really likes what he does and is excited to be relevant again but jubilantly extolling how tight the races which literally have the potential to end our democracy are is more than I can bear atm.

@thewebrecluse CoSo is pretty good at deflecting negativity. Have to admit I'm probably guilty of it on occasion particularly when it comes to things political. I try to remember to hashtag political posts so people who have filters set to ignore political posts won't see them but sometimes forget. I filter quite a few sports but they still slip through.
It's not a perfect system for ignoring things one isn't interested in or doesn't want to see but it is somewhat helpful. 🙂

@f3dUp73xan Oh I remember this. They said it was a matter of screen calibration and, purportedly, took the affected machines offline until they could be correctly calibrated. Not sure how many people didn't notice the machine(s) were marking the wrong choices but I think those that did were allowed to use properly calibrated machines to vote.

@thewebrecluse Unfortunately it's going to get much worse before it gets better. Friday is the D day for the bird sale so this weekend may be a good one to lay low.

@researchbuzz Not really a surprise considering Musk's less than favorable reputation as a boss. Many users of the platform left back when the deal was initially struck, many more than that greatly reduced their usage while looking for alternatives like CoSo. I've logged on exactly twice in the last 2 months, once to post to Hershel Walker asking how he liked 1 of his baby mamas being called a skank by Dana Loesh for which I received a 12 hour suspension & then later to tweet at Twit to KMA. 😏

I remember when Brian Williams posted one of her videos on the 11th hour....I was like "Oh..I follow her on YouTube and TikTok, she's great!". Now she does podcasts with well known politicos in addition to her short posts.
