There is a simple solution.

If the concern is that nominees have ties to foreign governments that would be disqualifying, they have or personal secrets that could be exploited: If Trump grants them security clearances and appoints them, all the information gathered is released to the public. Then secrets can no longer be exploited, and if foreign ties affect their decisions, it’s up to congress to either impeach them or to endorse those decisions through failure to impeach.
