I see a new gambit by corporations that dislike employee WFH.
Not only do they specify that you have to work out of their office, they also say something "preference will be given to people living less than xx minutes from the office".
In my world, the only reason that an employer would do that is to that they can abuse the working relationship by requiring that you be able to come to the office at almost any time.
