It's not your responsibility to live up to an 'identity,' whether it's one that you've chosen or one that's been foisted on you.
Real personal, individual identity is so much more complex than any set of pigeonholes, no matter how large, can possibly capture. Don't always be trying to modify and limit who you are in order to fit into somebody's boxes. Maybe you're this or that, but maybe you're not and you sloppily slosh back and forth between categories. That's all good.

This is just a loving reminder that your brains have not evolved to cope with the stimuli of online environments.
It does you no good to be immersed in images of destruction or harm, particularly if you are not in a position to help.
Stay informed, but take breaks. Look at the sky. Attend to local concerns where you CAN make a difference.
It doesn’t help the world or you if you are chronically destabilized by online content.

I haven’t really seen a night sky since my childhood.
@InvaderGzim @northernbassist We're on the east coast now, so only the very brightest stars show up. However, a 3+ hour drive north will get us to very dark skies where the stars are so numerable I have a difficult time picking out constellations like Orion, the Dippers, Summer Triangle, etc!! Love being up there, but we don't often have the chance.

We've lost a hero. Thomas Stafford, veteran of four space missions, including the moon landing dress rehearsal Apollo 10 mission, passed away today after a long illness. He was 93..
